Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the agreement between Astronova Host (“Astronova”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and every customer, user, or organization (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) using our Services. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this AUP is to protect the integrity, security, and reliability of Astronova’s network, infrastructure, and Services, and to ensure that all users can operate in a safe and lawful environment.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Services to store, process, or transmit any content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringes or misappropriates intellectual property or other proprietary rights.
- Is defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
- Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors.
- Promotes hate, violence, terrorism, or discrimination against individuals or groups.
- Contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code.
- Constitutes unlawful pornography or obscene material under applicable law.
3. Prohibited Uses and Activities
You may not use the Services to:
- Engage in, promote, or facilitate illegal activities.
- Conduct or support phishing, fraud, identity theft, or deceptive practices.
- Distribute unsolicited bulk email (“spam”) or unsolicited messages in violation of applicable anti-spam laws.
- Launch or facilitate denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks, port scanning, or other network attacks.
- Gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account (hacking).
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or third-party systems.
- Mine cryptocurrency in a manner that violates our resource usage policies or third-party rights.
- Use the Services for command-and-control, botnets, or similar abusive infrastructure.
4. Network and Resource Use
You must use the Services in a way that does not unreasonably interfere with the use of the Services by others. Astronova may apply technical limits, fair use thresholds, or rate limits where necessary to protect network stability and performance.
5. Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts, systems, and applications, including managing access credentials, applying patches, and configuring firewalls or security groups. You must promptly address known vulnerabilities and avoid using default or weak passwords.
6. Reporting Violations
Suspected violations of this AUP, including abuse originating from Astronova IP addresses, may be reported to:

Provide as much detail as possible, including logs, headers, timestamps, and any relevant evidence.
7. Our Rights and Enforcement
We may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Astronova reserves the right, with or without notice, to:
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP or applicable law.
- Throttle, suspend, or terminate Services associated with abusive activity.
- Cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities in investigating suspected illegal activity.
8. Third-Party Complaints
If we receive a complaint or abuse report related to your use of the Services, we may forward the complaint to you or request additional information. You must cooperate in good faith to resolve complaints promptly.
9. Changes to this AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website and becomes effective upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
